We are positively surprised to see that our study promoted a lot of media attention as well as discussion and great recognition by our scientific community peers. You can find below some of the journals that made news features (e.g. in ‘Autoinflammatory Diseases’ they entitled the piece as ‘Kawasaki Disease and the end of rheumatology as we know it‘, and state ‘Scientific progress is said to occur through “paradigm shifts,” or radical changes in our way of thinking, which abruptly transforms the field. Will a fungal toxin mark this change for rheumatology?’).
